Opening of the 2021/2022 Academic Year at the UEx

Solemn Opening Ceremony of the 2021/2022 Academic Year at the University of Extremadura. The event was held at the Faculty of Business, Finance, and Tourism on the Cáceres campus, under strict COVID-19 prevention measures.

The inaugural lecture, "The Protection of Intellectual Creations: Special Reference to Plagiarism," was delivered by Professor José Antonio Vega Vega, Chair of Commercial Law at the University Center of Plasencia.

The musical pieces "Veni Creator Spiritus," "The Rose," and "Gaudeamus Igitur" were performed by the University of Extremadura Choir.
