The University of Extremadura celebrated the feast day of Saint Thomas Aquinas with this solemn ceremony held at the Cáceres Conference Center. Professor María Ángeles Durán Heras, Chair of Sociology, Honorary Research Professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), and recipient of the National Research Prize, delivered a lecture entitled "Women and Men in the Spanish Economy."
