Solemn Opening Ceremony of the 2024/2025 Academic Year at the University of Extremadura. The event was held in the University Auditorium (Paraninfo) on the Badajoz campus.
The inaugural lecture, "On Hedgehogs and Glucocorticoids: Some Considerations on Loneliness," was delivered by Professor Francisco José Vaz Leal, Chair of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The musical pieces were performed by the University of Extremadura Choir.
